Stretch & Turns
Class Description
The Stretch & Turns class focuses on building flexibility, strength, and control, essential for dancers of all styles. Students at The PACTW will engage in a series of exercises and stretches specifically designed to improve range of motion and enhance turn execution. This class targets core stability, proper body alignment, and coordination, enabling dancers to execute turns with precision and grace.
Ages
9 – 18 years old
Attire
Girls:
- Black cap sleeve leotard
- Pink tights
- No skirts
- Hair in bun, no bangs in eyes
Boys:
- Solid black or white crew or V-neck short sleeve T-shirt (no logos or slogans)
- Black shorts or black jazz pants
*Proper dance wrap sweater is OK on cold days with leg warmers worn only at the barre.
Footwear
Girls:
- Pink split sole leather or canvas ballet shoes
- Pink pointe shoes (If approved for pointe, Ms. Caroline must go with student to pick out first pair of pointe shoes.)
Boys:
- Black split sole leather or canvas ballet shoes
- Black socks preferred
