Miss Caroline Batson, a former student of a strict Ballet School during her childhood, has always possessed a deep-rooted love for dance. She pursued her passion by obtaining a degree in Physical Education with a specialization in Dance from The University of Nevada, Reno. While enrolled at the university, Miss Batson’s remarkable talents led the theater department to approach her with an enticing opportunity – to choreograph the renowned production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” This experience served as a catalyst for her burgeoning adoration of choreography, theater, and dance, leaving her eager for further exploration.

After successfully graduating from UNR, Miss Batson embarked on a professional dance career that allowed her to collaborate with esteemed celebrities such as Debbie Reynolds, Suzanne Somers, Charo, Jim Naybors, and Juliette Prowse, among other notable figures. Simultaneously, she discovered a profound joy in teaching and dedicated numerous years to instructing ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance at various dance studios and venues. Balancing her teaching commitments with homeschooling her two children, Miss Batson willingly accepted both paid and unpaid positions, driven by her unwavering desire to share her immense love for dance and theater.

In 2011, a fortuitous opportunity presented itself – the chance to establish her own dance studio. Seizing the moment, Miss Batson launched the Performing Arts Center of The Woodlands (PACTW), an endeavor that defied expectations and proved to be nothing short of miraculous. PACTW quickly gained momentum, experiencing a successful inaugural year and continuing to thrive ever since. Collaborating closely with her husband, Curt, an exceptionally talented actor, singer, and writer, Miss Batson orchestrates a truly exceptional Spring Performance for their students. By intertwining various dance styles within their musical theater classes, they craft a captivating and distinctive narrative that captivates audiences. The core essence of their business lies in placing their students at the forefront, allowing each individual to shine brightly. Some students excel in dance, while others showcase their acting and singing abilities, providing an unforgettable and enriching experience for all involved.

At the culmination of each year, every child is honored with a trophy as a testament to their unwavering dedication and hard work. Through Miss Batson’s guidance, students not only acquire discipline but also realize their potential to achieve their dreams, fostering a belief in their own capabilities. This shared journey of passion and growth has solidified Miss Caroline Batson’s love for her business, further cementing PACTW as an exceptional and cherished institution in the world of dance and theater.
